    Bye Bye DirectBuy
I am here at work now and it is my last day. I must say I couldn't wait for this day to come but now that it is here I am actually kind of sad. Everyone is giving me hugs and exchanging e-mail addresses and it is now starting to hit me. Although this job has been less then ideal, the crowd here are actually really nice. Well with the exception of cheech and chong that is, lol.

So I am coming home to the rock baby! I am really excited but at the same time I am a little sad. I will miss Shelly and Cassie a lot! I will also miss having the opportunity to do and see so many different things. I am having mixed feelings about the whole situation really. I am glad that I am going home to a job related to my degree and I can't wait to see my family and friends but I will miss my life in T.O. I just hope that I won't be bored at home. I can't really seem to stay in one place for to long these days, lol. Three jobs in three provinces in three months, lol, it must be some sort of record. I great summer though, I got to see the beautiful rocky mountains in alberta and met a really cool chick from Australia. I got to come to T.O and hang out with Shell and Cass for a bit. I got a great tan, eat thai food, met a cute boy, saw the gay pride parade, watched the world cup game in little Italy and Italy won, MADDNESS!, got drunk and wonder the streets on T.O. It was a good summer all and all. Of course I will be back to T.O. to visit the girls sooner than later so its all good.

I Know one thing, I can't wait to go have a fire on the beach and go camping. I really did
miss all the outdoor activites this summer that I didn't have the opportunity to take part in while living in the city. Anyways Dawno, once again I am so sorry for screwing up your plans and I can't wait for the two of us to be back in NL and at O'Reilly's drinking some beer. Loves ya girl.

    Rocky Mountain High
I am now in Alberta living up in the mountains. I have to say it is really beautiful up here. I swear ever since I first saw the mountains yesterday I have a sudden urge to pick up mountain clinbing. Right! I will probably never do it but it would be pretty cool to actually do it. I am living with two other girls. They are both really nice which is a relief. I had no idea what kind of people I would be living with but I have to say It turned out o.k.

I started work today and it went pretty well. The day flew and my boss is really nice. I am however working with eight other people, six of which are french! They can speak english a little but it is hard to communicate at times. Too funny, I tell ya. They are all really sweet and they are learning. They will be speaking fluently by the end of the summer I would say. I was hanging out with them all tonight and we were listening to some matchbox twenty. It was fun for a bit. After a while it was just exhausting. Someone who speaks english and french was translating for them and I. I had to get out of there for a bit to take a break. I am picking up bits and pieces of the french though. It is karoke night tommorrow at the pub so I should meet some more english speaking people there.

I would be cool to meet people through my roommates but we are on opposite schedules so we actually don't see much of each other.

Oh and Dawno, I called you last night on your home phone and on your cell but I couldn't reach you. I guess you were probably at work but I didn't call there because I figured you wouldn't really be able to talk. I was dying to talk to you though. I miss you and sara lots. I have been talking to sara on msn but you and I are never on at the same time. I will try and call you tommorrow night. I have to go get a new phone card tommorrow. Although we are getting a phone in by the end of this week hopefully, so then you can call me. Deadly beans!

Well thats about all the news I really have here. I am sure I will have lots to write in the coming days. I will probably be updating this a lot more now since I will be having a bit of free time on my hands in the evenings. I am gonna try to be sensible and not do the whole party scene like every night. I haven't had a drink since I have been here yet. However that will change tommorrow night. I just hope I don't turn into a complete alcholic, lol. That would not be good. My plan is to work here for the summmer and have enough money saved up so that I can move to calgary to work by the end of august. Sandi has applied for teaching positions in Calgary so we may end up being roomies. That is all the news now for sure.

    Happy Christmas Eve
I can't believe it is christmas already! It came so fast. I am so glad that I prepared ahead of time. Of course I always do. That is one thing that I am on the ball with. I always have my christmas gifts bought and wrapped before the craziness starts. I don't evny you Dawno, out fighting the crowds today. Good luck my dear.

Shelly came home thrusday night. So we hung out at my house with the Amanda's and drank slush. Yummy. I can't wait untill tonight. Christmas drinks at the Brown's is da bomb! Its so nice to have all the old crowd together on christmas eve. Its too bad that Sara is gonna be out in home tonight but ya gotta be with the Family for christmas. If your talking about my family, that includes seven adults and four children under 8. Fun times I tell ya. I love it though. The kids get so excited. I love seeing there faces when they open up there presents. It is so sweet.

Well tonight it is supper here and then mass at 8:00 and then off to the Brown's. I better go get a shower, prepare supper, ice the cherry cake and clean up the mess I make in the process, lol.

    It's christmas in the harbour
I am so tired! I never got home untill 4:00am last night. Then I was up at 11:00 am. I wasn't even drinking last night and I was out so late. Well of course Sara and I were listened to a few tracks on our matchbox 20 c.d. LOL. Good times. We went to see The Punters last night at O'Reilly's. It was pretty good but there wasn't really anyone there. I love O'Reilly's but at the same time I am kinda getting sick of the same old scene. Although I really don't know were else to go. I am not into dance bars so that limits the bars I am interested in going too. It would be so cool if a Jazz bar around here. I was listening to my Ella Fitzgerald c.d earlier and I was longing for some live Jazz. I love it.

So I have to go to the career development centre at MUN tommorrow and get them to help me fix up my resume. I have to find a job ASAP. Even if I don't pass that French course I will just have to do it in January and I should be able to get a job even though I won't graduate untill April. We will see what happens anyway. Sara's new roommate did the same degree as I did and she thinks I may be able to get a job where she works. She works in a group home. Also my sister-in-law says she might be able to help me out. She is a social worker and there may be some work in her department for me. I hope it all works out.

Christmas is almost here, I can't believe it. I have all my shopping done and all my gifts wrapped. Well actually I still have to pick up a c.d for my mom, but besides that I am ready. I got my ticket for the Shanneyganock show the other day. I am so excited! We also got our tickets for New Years. It is gonna be Wicked! We are going to Club One to see Hollywood Rose and a Bon Jovi Tribute band. It is gonna be fun!

Well I better go. My nieces want me to be in a parade, lol. Julia has harmonica and Meghan has a Drum they want me to play the symbols. Oh my too funny. The parade in on.

    Cheers

Tis the season to be jolly
I am here now, just waiting to go to my work christmas party. Well it is more like a dinner really and it is all the way out in Airport Heights. Not cool because it is kinda gross out. Anyway I don't really want to go I am not going to know anyone. Well just my parents and the couple of people who work at my store. The people who own the store I work at own a few other business around town so those employees will be there too. It is so weird this year. Now that dad has sold the business things are different. We used to get a christmas bonus instead of going out to dinner. That was much better but thats it. The times they are a changing.

I only have one more exam left and then I am finished school! Well that's if I pass the exam. It is French and I have been having a hard time with it. I am praying that I will make it through. I still have three more days to study so I just have to be hard at it for those few days and then I am done. I can't wait! Then I have to get out and find work. I hope I am able to find a job related to my field.

I can't wait untill Tuesday night. I will be finished and it is customer appriciation night at O'Reilly's. It is gonna be wicked! I am gonna finally be able to go out and have few drinks and not worry about school. Plus it is going to be staff open mic night. Oh man, what a laugh. Well I guess I am off to the dinner now. Hopefully it won't be too boring.

One more paper and then its time to study for exams, woo-hoo!
I am here at Sara's sister's place now and Sara has agreed to type up part of my paper for me. God love her! I type so slow ans she is so fast so she will get it typed much quicker then me. She is trying to convince me to go see Larry and Pat tongiht which sounds good in theory but I do want to finsh my paper first. So I guess it depends on how fast I get it done. I would like to go out since I haven't been out much lately. Anyway we will see. We are here sharing a bagel right now and then it is off to get the matchbox 20 c.d. Oh yeah! Then she is gonna type for me, hehe. Well I am off for now.

    Paper Mania!
Well it certainly has been a while since I have made an entry. This semester has gone so fast! At the present moment I am drowning in papers. I have two due on thrusday and one due on friday. I am actually rather impressed with myself so far as I have one paper finished and I am half way through another. It looks like I may actually finished them on time, which is a first! Although I have to pass them in on time because as soon as I pass them in I have to start studying for exams. The stress is killing me. It will be worth it all thought when I FINALLY finish. I tell ya, it really will be the end of an era. LOL! I can't wait untill December 13th when I will be a free woman again. It will be awesome. Plus Shelly and Cassie are coming home for chirstmas I can't wait. Christmas eve at the Brown's is always a good laugh. Although I always end up with a hangover on christmas morning which isn't so cool but hey christmas drinks at the Brown's is tradtion. Oh yeah, Dawno and I bought tickets for GBS which is exciting. I can't wait to go. To bad it is not untill march. I was hoping they would play a christmas show. BUMMER! Anyway I hope Shanneyganock play a christmas show. Chris said that they would be but I haven't heard anything about it. Well we will see girls. Keep your fingers crossed. Well I better be off to bed, early rise tommorrow.

    Mun is Fun!!!
Wow, I haven't written in my journal for such a long time! Crazy! I have been drowning in school work and it is driving me crazy. This being my last semester has me a little more anxious then usual. Its all good though I seem to be keeping up, well at least a little more then usual. I have been spending a lot of time at the library doing research and at home studying for mid-terms. I have decided to lay off the partying untill christmas as if I don't I will end up back at MUN for another semester, which is not an option! I am actually enjoying my courses this semester. I am taking two folklore courses one on urban legends and another on folksong. They are a lot of work but I enjoy them so its all good. I am having a bit of trouble with my french course but with any luck I will pull through. I am also doing a sociology course which is boring as hell but it won't be hard to do well in it. Anyway enough about school.

I have been finding a little more time to spend with the family lately, which is nice. I am getting along with my mom farely well and I even cooked supper for my brother and his wife and kids the other night. It was good to spend time with them. Ethan was telling me about his new friends at school and I was telling Julia stories before she went to bed. She likes to hear stories about when I was a little girl. She is too Cute. It was so funny she was going around singing "Don't you wish your girlfriend was a freak like me" I was cracking up but she keep saying it. I eventually got her singing "Don't your wish your girlfriend was asleep like me". That was before she went to bed. Anyways sorry to bore you guys with my stories. Damm I am so boring these days. Thats it by' ya gotta grow up sooner or later. Shit I totally just farted and I forgot that there is a man out in the living room fixing the fireplace. Let me just say that I am sitting on a ver hard kitchen chair so he definately heard it. Oh god I am so embarassed!!! I guess I am not all that grown up after all, hahahahaha. Now I have to stay in this room untill he leaves. Jesus, I am such a dork!

I had a mid-term in my folksong course yesterday and I think I did really well so that is cool. I have a paper to write by friday and I have an interview to do with Jackie Sullivan for that course as well. That should be interesting. Good God I am back to talking about school again. Thats all I have been doing lately so really I have nothing else to talk about. Oh my! Anyway I can't wait to see Sara the weekend! I miss her soooooo much. We are gonna have a mellow night for a change which will be best kind. Go out for a drink and then chill and listen to a few tracks of the matchbox 20 c.d. Good times ahead!

    Ya can't bet MUN by!
I just got home from school and my uncle Paul pulled in the driveway right behind me. I haven't seen him in like at least a year. He lives up North now so he doesn't get home much. I had no idea he was in town so it was a surprise for sure. It was nice to see him but its hard because he reminds of my aunt Betty who he used to be married to but she died three years ago. She was one of the most amazing people I have ever known. I was really close to her and although she was sick for a long time it was still very hard to except her death. Anyway enough with the depressing matters and on to more happy times.

Exactly a week ago today I went to see U2 in Toronto. It was so amazing! I have never been so excited in my life! They opened up with Vertigo and it just keep getting better from there. Amanda and I were screaming like a bunch of school girls. When Bono sang Miricle Drug I almost cried, it was so overwhelming. The stage was really cool, it went around in a cirle and the lights were wild. It was definately the coolest thing I have ever seen. About halfway through they played Streets With No Name and I thought I was gonna pee in my pants. Then when they came back for an encore they sang With or Without You. I wasn't expecting them to play that and as soon as I heard the edge start to play the guitar intro I was in heaven. It was so much fun I want to go again!

I was having major O'Reilly's withdrawl while I was gone for like a week. I couldn't wait to get back and go to my second home. Dawn and Erin and I went down for a beer on thusday and it was awesome. Larry and Pat where playing and of course I ended up staying longer then I had intended. Then saturday night Dawn and I headed up to the Our Lady Peace concert which we were at for about an hour. We caught the last few songs and I heard Supermans Dead my favorite OLP song. We just drank some beers and then headed down to Club One to see the 8-Track Favorites which was good as usual. Sunday night Dawn and Erin and I headed back to O'Reilly's for a quick study break which of course turned into a late evening. We ended up chatting with some of Erin's friends, who were a riot! It was a fun night. Last night we headed back to O'Reilly's once again for a beer and Arthur O'Brien was playing. He sang this song I'm Just The Brother of Con. It was worth the cash I tell ya. I was cracking up.

Today started off in a rush as usual. I got up the last minute and hauled ass out to MUN. I was ten minutes late for my first class and my proff was such a nazi with the overheads. He would take them down way to quick and refuse to put them back up. He said that they were mostly taken from the book anyway. I was pissed! What is the point in putting up overheads if you are not going to give people time to write them down. Anyway the rest of my day went fine. I had to do some major photocopying and we had a guest speaker for my folksong class. He played us Czech folksongs and told us what the lyrics meant in english it was interesting. Anyways thats all for now folks. I gotta get some grub and hit the books.

    Its Friday!
Its friday and Lewis is arriving tonight at 7:00. Woo-hoo only three more days until U2. I am so excited! I am kinda bummed out because of this whole blister thing though. I can't really do much because my foot is so sore. I have been limping around on the side of my foot the past couple of days. I look like the dude from the movie The Usual Suspects with the limp. It is such a pain in the ass. I just hope it isn't too sore tonight because we are supposed to be going out to a club.

Last night we watched The O.C. The first one of the thrid season. I tell ya, DRAMA!DRAMA!DRAMA! Cassie gave us strick rules before the show "No talking untill the commericals". We all obeyed. We made nacho dip and had some beers. After the O.C this new show The Reunion came on and it was really good. Vanessa was rotted though when the guy from American Dreams was in the show because after a bit of research she found out that American Dreams was cancelled. It was her favorite show. Her love for American Dreams was as strong as my love for Sex and The City. Tragic, poor Vern. Anyway me and shelly listened to a few tracks of her Matchbox 20 c.d. hehehe. After Shelly went to bed, Vanessa started working on the paper she has to finish ASAP and I listened to some tunes. I was chilling and listening to Oasis for a while and then I passed out while listening to Barry Canning. It was awesome. I loves the tunes. Anyway on account of my bum ankle the girls and I are going to see a movie this afternoon. I feel so bad because I can't do much. I feel like I am holding back Vanessa and Shelly from having fun. Its all good though they understand and plus Shelly lives here and Vanessa is staying for like month so they have plenty of time to do lots of things. We are going to get Lewis at the airport this evening and then having some cocktails. I think everyone is going out so I am praying that my foot won't be so sore. Well thats all the news for now. Oh yeah wait. Last night Shelly was going to jump on her bed and and she was half asleep. She missed her bed altogether and landed right on her knees in front of the bed. It was hilarious! She came down pretty hard though, poor thing. I thought I was gonna piss me pants. Funny shit. Thats all for now folks.

    Injured in T.O.
I arrived in T.O. last night at about 6:15. The flight wasn't too bad. I had a stopover in Halifax for like an hour which was a pain in the ass considering I booked a direct flight. It was o.k though, I passed the time by enjoying a cold one in the bar. This however turned out to bite me in the ass during the flight. About halfway through the flight I had to pee really bad. For those of you that know me well, using the bathroom on a plane is like the scariest thing to me. I am majorly clostrophobic so I never even attempted such a feat before. This time I had to suck it up and go or I really would have been in trouble. So I faced my fears and went. It turned out not to be as bad as I thought it would be. In fact I have even been in an elevator several times since I got here. The girls live on the 9th floor so I do not intend on walking up nine flights everytime I leave the building. I am really impressed with myself, one step at a time my friends.

Anyway, last night we just watched Canadian Idol and voted after we got a bite to eat. Today Vanessa and I went out to the mall to pick up some craft supplies. We made signs to bring to the results show to see if we could get in. On our journey to the mall I developed a monster blister and I am about to die right now with the pain. GOD DAMM! Our signs included such sayings as "Tex Mex Rex" and "Go Rex, From: da by's". We are such dorks I know. Anyway it payed off because we got into the show! It was so cool. Cassie and Shelly got right in the front row and me and Vern were sat pretty much behind the judges. It was exciting! Rex saw our signs and he is in the final two. That is wicked! I hope he wins. The girls are gonna try to get tickets for the final show. I am so jealous I will back in NL by then.

So we were supposed to go the the zoo tommorrow but on account of my massive blister we are waiting until Saturday since Amanda will be up here then as well. Its all good. We may go to Toronto Island tommorrow. It is supposed to be nice. Well that is pretty much all of the excitement for today.

Its off to T.O. for me!!!!
I just finished doing some last minute packing and I am now ready to take off tommorrow. I am starting to get excited now. I haven't seen Shelly and Cassie in forever! Its weird when your really good friends move away. It was hard at first but have keep in constant contact so its all good. I miss hanging out with them though. It is gonna be one wild week I'd say. We rearly get together with out getting into a little trouble, lol. I can't wait to see U2! I think I am going to scream like a school girl when I see Bono. I hope they play with or without you and desire. Those and my favorites. I have a feeling they will play mostly newer stuff though. Its all good though. I love U2.

So the weekend was alright afterall. I ended up going out to Harbour Grace to get Sara on saturday night. She stayed with me for the weekend, it was deadly. Saturday night Sara and I just had a few drinks out on the patio and listened to some tunes. We had a grand time filling in each other on the weeks events. It was nice. Sunday we went out to Sara's sisters to see if she could hook us up. As usual that was a treat, lol. She wasn't able to help us so we went downtown and had frozen yogurt, yummy. Then went to the liquor store and got some drinks for the evening. Once again we sat out on the patio and sipped on some cocktails. We had some male visitors that night. Sara's friend Steve and his friend Andrew came over. Steve was really nice but this Andrew dude turned out to be a real freakshow. He was load and obnoxious, making all these stupid jokes. I wanted to smack him. I have to say I wasn't exactly sad to see him leave. Today was alright, I drove Sara home and we went to George's and hung out for a bit and listened to a few tracks of his matchbox 20 c.d. lol. He has a new apartment out in Carbonear and it is really nice! I headed back to the Pearl just before dark and finished packing. Now all I have to do is go to bed and take care of a few last minute things tommorrow and I am off. I think I am going to get these thongs for Cassie and Shelly that say "the arse is out of her" they will crack up. I have to check it out. I saw them at a store downtown a little while ago. Well I better go phone Dawn and see if she is back from Deer Lake yet. I have to see her before I go.

    I am obsessed with 24
I can't get enough of 24. It is the best show ever. I am now watching the fouth season. It is awesome! Kiefer Sutherland is so hot. I never thought he was that hot until I started watching 24. Now I think he is the man. I recommend that everybody watch 24 it is by far the best television series ever.

So far the weekend has been pretty boring. My girls Dawn and Sara are both out of town for the weekend and I am completely lost. I didn't plan on doing much the weekend anyway because I am going to Toronto on tuesday to see Shelly and Cassie and of course BONO!!! Hehe, we are going to see U2, I can't wait. So I gotta refrain from spending much money the weekend. Its all good though because I had my night out on thrusday. Dawno and I went to O'reilly's and had a few drinks. It was a laugh. We were chatting it up with Chris Andrews again and we had quite the buzz on. We mananged to scam some poor taxi driver into driving us back to Mount Pearl for $17. Lol, thats all had between the two of us at the end of the night. I stumbled in the door at like 3:20am and was up at 9:00am and out to MUN by 10:00am. It was not pleasant. I had to go talk to all my proff's while I was hungover like a beeotch.

So I am pretty much spending the weekend washing clothes and packing. I may go up the trailor tonight with the rents or I might go to Darry's to see middle tickle if Erin is still going. Who knows really. It is crazy that I actually have no plans the weekend. Every weekend of the summer the girls and I never stopped. I would be all week trying to get over the weekend, lol. It is actually nice to have a quiet weekend. Although I am kinda bored and missing the girls something sick. Well I must go fold some clothes. Fun times I tell ya.

I ordered the bay bulls special!!!!
The weekend is way too short! I worked friday night and then went out for coffee with Dana. By the way Dawn I did not have a cigerette. Yee of little faith. I worked all day saturday which was pretty boring. It went by so slow because I was dying to get off and go see the 8-tracks.

After worked I hauled ass up to wal-mart to get a birthday gift for my neice. She turned 2 today, what a cutie. Then I gathered my gear to go get ready over at dawn's while sipping on some rum and coke. I drank way to much rum and coke and had to pee so bad on the drive up to Bay Bulls. The 8-tracks played at O'briens up in Bay Bulls. I had to get Dawn's mom to stop so I could pee on the side of the road. Not my finest hour. We finally made it and had a blast. As soon as we got there I order a bay bulls special in Con's honor(double scretch and coke). Like I needed another drink. We danced up a storm and had a grand chat with Barry Hillier. He is a cool cat. I love when he sings It never rains in southern california, he does are wicked job. I love that song.

I had to get up early this morning and drive up to gushue's pond for my neice's birthday party at the trailer. I know trailer party, cracks me up! My family are a bunch of hicks, I loves it! It was pretty good. The kids were gone wild. I headed home around 4ish and had a nap. I was exhausted. Now I have to go and get ready. The girls and I are heading DTSJ. We may check out Con at Bridies and apparently the punters and playing at O'reilly's. It may be a private party though. Not sure but we will have to check out he situation.
    Thats all for now.

    I love O'Reilly's!!!!!!!!
Oh my GOD!!!!!!!!! I am still having a stroke over the amazing amount of local talent I took in last night. It was amazing! Dawn and I went down to O'reillys to see Larry and Pat and it turned out that Pat wasn't there and Mike Hanrahan was there instead. I was sooo excited, I love Mike. I missed Pat but Mike was a great substitute. So there we were hanging out in front of the sound booth as usual having a beer and I was like "Dawn isn't that Bob Pike at the end of the Bar?" It was and not two minutes later Chris Andrews walked in. I nearly puked I was so excited! He came right over and talked to us. He said "I see you girls everywhere", lol, its true we see him all the time. Cracks me up, he is the coolest man ever. We were talking to Larry for a minute which made Dawn happy. He came over and said hi and Dawn blurted out "play handle me with care" it was hilarious. He played it for us too. It was wicked. The best song in the world."Oh the sweet smell of success, handle me with care". Thats Dawns part, lol. Anyway I am rotted at myself because once again I did not talk to Mike. I am such an idiot. I can't talk to him, I get to nervous. He is just soo cute. I turn into a complete mute when I am around him. It is so frustrating. One of these days I am gonna work up the courage to speak to him. I know girls you want to smack me I say that all the time and I never talk to him. Good God I am such a freak, oh my. Anyways it was a fantastic night for sure. I can't wait to go see the 8-tracks on Saturday night up in Bay Bulls it is gonna rock! Thats all for now. I gotta go take the kiddies to kids castle, it should be fun. Apparently there is a dragon there. I am excited, lol.

    Honky-tonk weekend!
So the weekend started off kinda slow. I worked Friday night then met a friend at the Bull for a beer. Visited Dawn-O at the bowling alley, threw a few balls for a laugh...kicked Sara's ass! :) Worked all day Saturday...it was boring as hell!! There was a million people on Water Street however there was no one in Water Street Pharmacy. Got off @ 5, hauled ass back to da pearl and got on the rum & cokes...which is always a good way to start off the night! The girls and I primed up on booze and good ole' country tunes and then we headed off to see the 8-Track Favorites at Dexas! It was actually really cool! Even better than at Club One. As always the b'ys put off a great show! And we even met Shaun Majumder...how exciting!! He is super hot in person and the funniest guy ever. I loves it! "Fuck Shoppers!!!" LOL ...We left George Street and came back to da pearl again ...had a feed of egg rolls and fries and finally crashed at 6AM! It was wicked! Today was pretty laid back. The girls and I went for a dip in the most pathetic pool in the world. It was hilarious! Then we headed to Bergs for an ice cream and cleaned house. ~Knows ya can't go!

    Summer Semester is Fabulous!
Its thrusday and I have an exam tommorrow. I can't wait! Whoever said it was a good idea to take courses over the summer is on crack! Oh yeah that was me, Damm I suck. Once again I have managed to leave studying till the last minute as usual. Oh well, I always make it through I guess it will work out this time also. At least I hope it will. I have a long night ahead of me. Lots of coffee and smokes and Its all good.

On a higher note I made a few purchases last night. I finally bought the crush c.d I have been talking about buying forever! It is WICKED! Of course I knew that long ago. Listening to crush with Dawno is the best but I finally felt the need to have my own copy of face in the crowd. I also bought Shanneyganock's latest c.d. I loves it! Ever since the little rendevous with the by's in Carbonear I have been threatening to buy the c.d. I finally broke down. So since I studied for a solid hour last night I felt that warrented me some listening time. Oh my, instead of studying I was rocking out to the locals.

Well I am off to babysit, then its back to the pharmacy for three thrilling hours, then I have to hit the books big time. Wish me luck I have a long day ahead of me.

    Dude where's my car?
The day started out with a bang. Actually a knock on my bedroom door. It was my niece, she came in and jumped on me to get up. It was a rude awakening but she is just too cute, i couldn't be angry. The day is going pretty good so far. Although my mom took my car and was gone for the longest time which pissed me off but its all good i got it back now. Basically i painted with my niece and watched the flinstones movie. Then i picked up my Ethan from school. Fun times i tell ya. Babysitting is not too bad. The kids are great so its cool.

Last night Dawn and i went to O'Reilly's for ballads with Con O'Brien and Mike Hanrahan. It was fantastic!!!!!! Mike has such a beautiful voice! Him singing Early Morning Rain was magical. I can't wait to see the Irish Descendents play again!

I have to go to the library tonight and do some research for a paper. Fun times i tell ya. Anyways that all I have to say for now.

    What a weekend!!!!!!
I had a really fun weekend!!!!! The weekend started off early as the girls and i headed down to O'Reillys to see Larry and Pat on thrusday night. It was great! I had to leave early though, 9 o'clock class comes early.

Friday we caught the 8-tracks favorites at club one. They are wicked!!!! I love that cotton fields song and pat singing ravishing ruby is deadly. Larry playing the chords on sandy's guitar for him is too cool. God love Larry he is quite the entertainer.

Saturday me and Dawn went to jiggs and reels for easter seals. It was pretty good. The fables were fun and i was impressed with the accessories. We showed up late though and caught the last song Barry Canning sang. We were Rotted!!!! Barry is awesome. It was all good though because we had a little chat with him while i was out for a smoke. After the show we went to O'Reilly's for a few beers and Kilkenny Krew were playing. They are o.k but i fogot that they kinda turn irish music into dance music, I'm not down with it my friends. Blane is cool though, nice guy. We couldn't resist and had to head to club one to see the 8-tracks again. It was even better saturday night then friday night. The 8-tracks rule. I can't wait for their c.d to come out! Overall it was a fabulous weekend of local talent. Oh yeah and Dawn rolling down to george street was priceless, watch out for potholes they are dangerous when you are walking too. hahahaha.
